Club Nights

Club nights at Redlands Swim Club are held on FRIDAY starting at 6.30 pm SHARP. The agenda for each night is in the back of this hand book. There is also time sheets for recording your child's times throughout the season.

NOMINATIONS for club night close on the Thursday afternoon . The nomination fee for club night is $2.00. Nomination forms will be available from the clubhouse throughout the week. These can be filled in and left in the box at the clubhouse. Forms must include

  • DATE
  • SWIMMERS NAME
  • EVENT NOMINATION

If the Automatic Box is marked the swimmer is automatically entered in all strokes offered that night. Swimmers may nominate for individual strokes/distances, however to be eligible to compete in Club Championships, a swimmer must swim all four strokes the minimum required amount of times.

There is a BBQ every club night, please support this as all funds go directly to the kids.

Help by parents is essential for the smooth running of club Nights.

Timekeepers are needed each club night (a minimum of 1 Per lane). Club  nights cannot commence until each lane has Timekeeper/s.

Swimmers are responsible for reporting to the race marshal when their race’s or names are called. Officials will not delay an event for a swimmer who does not report when called.

Complete silence must be observed prior to the starting of every event.

THE REFEREE’S DECISION IS FINAL.

Heats or events will be arranged according to the swimmers’ times’ regardless of age or gender.

Any swimmer who is found to be misbehaving or making excessive noise may be disqualified from the evenings events by the referee.

Children under 12 years of age are not allowed to swim on a club night unless they are accompanied by an adult who has excepted responsibility for their conduct and safety for the entire evening.

Swimmers are required to wear correct racing attire.

All events will be conducted as per Swimming Queensland rules.
