Club Nights at Redlands Swim Club are held every second Friday night commencing at 6.30 pm sharp. Consult the Club Handbook for dates of Club Nights.
Nominations for Club Night close on the preceding Friday afternoon (i.e. one week before).
The nomination fee for Club Night is $2.00 payable on entry.
Nominations via email to the Race Secretary are the the preferred method. Please include in your email the:

The standard program and order of events for each Club Night is as follows:

200m (Stroke of choice - Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Freestyle or Individual Medley)

25/50/100m Butterfly
-
25/50/100m Backstroke
-
25/50/100m Breaststroke
-
25/50/100m Freestyle
-
400m (Stroke of choice - Freestyle or Individual Medley)
Note:
-
Apart from the 'Stroke of choice' events swimmers cannot swim the same stroke over two distances e.g. a swimmer cannot compete in both the 50m and 100m freestyle event.

Any swimmer may compete in the 200m Individual Medley however points will not be awarded if the event is not completed in under 4 minutes.

It is expected that swimmers will confirm the Coach's approval to swim in a 400m event.

Progressioin times (as outlined in the Club Handbook) must be met before a swimmer moves to the next distance. If you have any doubt consult the Race Secretary.
There is a BBQ every club night, please support this as all funds go directly to the kids.
Help by parents is essential for the smooth running of club Nights.
Timekeepers are needed each club night (a minimum of 1 Per lane).
Club nights cannot commence until each lane has Timekeeper/s.
Swimmers are responsible for reporting to the race marshal when their race or names are called. Officials will not delay an event for a swimmer who does not report when called.
Complete silence must be observed prior to the starting of every event.
THE REFEREE’S DECISION IS FINAL.
Heats or events will be arranged according to the swimmers’ times’ regardless of age or gender.
Any swimmer who is found to be misbehaving or making excessive noise may be disqualified from the evenings events by the referee.
Children under 12 years of age are not allowed to swim on a club night unless they are accompanied by an adult who has excepted responsibility for their conduct and safety for the entire evening.
Swimmers are required to wear correct racing attire.
All events will be conducted as per Swimming Queensland rules.
